(The Rest) Things Happen in Indonesia When Ramadhan

Hi, since Ramadhan gonna end soon so I am going to post the rest of my list about what are happening in Indonesia when Ramadhan.
I don't really give a specific explanation on every point. Comment if you are curious enough. I'd love to answer :)

3. Kolak
It is top most what Indonesians drink when Iftar (Fasting break). Kolak is a sweet beverage that contain some slices of banana, fruits of sugar palm, and some adding kind of tuberous plant in it. The sauce is from coconut milk mixed with brown coconut sugar. All the  ingredients and sauce boiled for about 15 to 30 minutes. In fact, you can also find Kolak outside Ramadhan yet Kolak is more common when Ramadhan since everybody needs sweet things to end the fasting time. Kolak came from Java past ago. In that time, the islam speaker searched the way for introducing Islam to Javanesse. Then, they made kolak. Kolak is a word from khaliq(The Creator; God/Allah SWT) that has been pronounced wrongly.

4. Ngabuburit
Ngabuburit is a word from Sundanesse, East Java.  Burit means evening. Well, actually there is no correlation between evening and fasting. But some people in Indonesia do Ngabuburit for waiting the maghrib time/iftar by a lot of activities such as cooking for iftar, shopping foods and drinks for iftar, meeting some friends to have iftar together, watching television/cinema, reading al-qur'an, or coming to halaqqah(a little meeting to study about Islam). Sundanesse usually read al-qur'an when Ngabuburit comes.
I am quite sad to know that most Indonesians doing nothing at Ngabuburit. Islam tells us that in the evening/in the time of waiting for iftar is a right time to pray because Allah hears and Insya Allah He will give all your wishes and hopes. My parents are the two who don't like this "tradition"(I am pointing to people that waste the Ngabuburit time), It is not proper to do in this holy Ramadhan month. But I would say, it is just a case happen because a lack of islam knowledge and a lack of the desire to learn/know their faith more :") and it is our duty-some people that might have already know-to enlighten them to be a better moeslem.
5. Fireworks
Well, this is common things. But as far as I know only in Indonesia, some people especially children play the fireworks to greet and say good bye to Ramadhan. It's kind of symbol of welcoming and farewell party. In the last night of Ramadhan, the fireworks will be so playful. All children are happy to see that Ramadhan is end.
6.Takjil
Takjil is a kind of snacks that serve at Iftar. Takjil usually serve before the main course. It is like appetizer. The takjil are usually something sweets like date palm, "kolak", tea, fruit soup, fruit salad, etc. It is because as moeslem we are asked breaking the fast with something sweet. My takjil are usually mineral water, date palm, a glass of tea, or a bowl of kolak. Takjil is a word from arabic that means quicken. It totally doesn't mean relating to food. (Browsing for further information because so do I)
7. TPA (Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur'an)
TPA in English is Al-Qur'an Learning Park. Well the park doesn't really mean in the park. It can be anywhere but mostly they go to mosque for having TPA class. So TPA is a like a short school for learning Al-Qur'an (how to read, write, memorize, and practice the messages of Qur'an). Actually there is also TPA outside the Ramadhan but mostly some people who are responsible organizing the TPA will be more active in the Ramadhan since it is a blessed month that every good things we do has double reward from Allah SWT (Insya Allah) so everyone doesn't want to exceed it.

Pardon me, I am not that good-reporting in this kind of journalism.

Okay, that's all the list I have in my mind. Hope it gives little help to the ones who are curious enough how Ramadhan likes in Indonesia.

For moeslem around the world, let's keep being spirit in the end of this Ramadhan-five days to go-because "The deeds are depend on how the ending is." And keep asking to Allah SWT that we still can do all the good deeds like in Ramadhan after the Ramadhan ends. Amen.

Taqaballahu minna wa minkum. Barakallah fiikum, dear all readers.
Hope to see you next year, Ramadhan.
